Dongying is an international competitive base for new perspectives in agriculture, industry, and lifestyle in China. Our goal is to create an innovative and flexible green city, focusing on the connection of five major cities and a high-tech agricultural corridor. These five clusters aim to create a virtuous circular economy, providing a sustainable agricultural industrial foundation based on the transformation of existing villages, a new industrial cluster with R&D and experimental farms, a salt and wind energy technology development zone, and a new city based on first-class industries and a garden city, with a core area of 350 square kilometers, featuring a financial representative center, logistics center, and transportation hub, with various modes of transport and facilities. Two tram lines can connect large green corridors and cities related to rivers and canals to maintain water quality and biodiversity. The project proposes a comprehensive ecological approach: identifying the economic potential of land, protecting land resources, controlling urban density, urban and research farmland, and creating healthy and happy cities.
