Longxiang Island is located in the southern part of Fuzhou City, along the southern extension of the city's central axis, with an extremely good ecological environment. The plan focuses on the concentrated development of the area that closely connects the center of the island with the Luozhou Bridge, arranging core functions such as conference hotels. However, strict protection is implemented for the agricultural wetlands and existing villages in the western and eastern parts of the island, overturning the original grid road network system and continuing the existing riverbank slow-moving system.
