The biggest challenge of this project is that the riverbanks on the west and north sides are higher than the site elevation, while the east and south sides are enclosed by elevated roads, making the entire site a spatial depression. The plan first creates a central landscape axis, introducing a tram that crosses the elevated road on the south side and connects organically with the southern Sino-French Ecological City, breaking the confinement situation; secondly, all east-west roads are connected to the riverside area in a slow longitudinal slope, so that people are not troubled by the effects of the spatial depression; finally, a charming central living room is created in the center of the town as the starting area for development.
