This case aims to activate the gateway function of the Bay Area New District, building a world-class waterfront that is natural, ecological, historical, and creative. By enhancing waterfront resilience, the landscape permeates the urban interior, improving the sponge resilience capacity of the coastal city. A green public slow-moving system will be integrated, creating a four-line waterfront greenway. It emphasizes the combination of hard cultural facilities on-site with local soft cultural activities, introducing future experiential technologies to form a temporal and spatial dialogue between different cultural periods within the site. Utilizing point radiation to form mixed-use blocks will increase the vitality of local industries: multidimensional collaborative sustainable development. Ultimately achieving the urban development vision of "Bay Area World Shore, Lingnan Reception Hall."
