For Papeete, the mysterious island of Polynesia that serves as a tourism window, the significant development project of the rubber-tired tram and the coastal reconstruction plan can improve the stagnant quality of life locally, reversing the negative image that does not match its identity, thus becoming two initiatives eagerly awaited for the future economic development of Tahiti. Due to long-term constraints from volcanic terrain, loose land regulations, and the blind urban expansion driven by the French nuclear economy, the capital of Polynesia has encountered serious development bottlenecks. The feasibility study of the project will focus on the in-depth planning and reconstruction work of various areas of the coastal port.
