The slum located in the Constantine-Bardo district (Algeria) is situated on a very steep hillside, plagued by flooding, which cuts through the urban fabric. The purpose of this international competition is to create a waterfront city park for walking and leisure, following the natural laws of water flow: it itself conveys the reconstruction of the flood landscape. The flood zone at the top of the hill will be transformed into a new landscape of a city park that residents can view from their balconies. Additionally, a tram system will be introduced to connect the main urban nodes.
