The site is located above an abandoned mine pit, where the designer has addressed the extreme topographical differences of the site through a large-span cantilever structure, while also creating a magnificent campus landscape. The use of exposed concrete cleverly connects with the material characteristics of the mine pit site and resonates with the campus's cost requirements. The transparent atrium design indoors complements the magnificent outdoor landscape.
