The overall planning concept of this project is to transform Hangzhou Tiandu City into a new model of urban construction in four dimensions: green, livable, innovative, and smart. First, green, by constructing urban environments through ecological buildings, low-energy consumption residences, renewable energy, and reasonable spatial and slow-moving system planning based on sustainable development concepts. Second, livable, by creating pleasant neighborhood scales through multifunctional space mixing. Third, innovation, by introducing international higher education and innovative high-tech industries to form a high-tech industrial park. Fourth, smart city, by integrating smart parking, smart security, smart property management, and smart community services to enhance the overall quality of urban life.
