Relocate some functions of the current capital of Senegal to the north, 150 kilometers from Dakar. The project study began in 2002, involving urban development strategies and infrastructure, with an initial area of 5,000 hectares and a population of 1 million. A design contract worth 1.8 million euros was signed with the Senegalese government.
