Architecture Design

Brittany Grand Prize of Architecture, 1998 (Partner: Michel Bignan)

The site is located above an abandoned mine. The designer solved the problem of extreme terrain height difference of the site through a large-span cantilever structure, while creating a magnificent campus landscape. The fair-faced concrete ingeniously connects the material characteristics of the mine site and echoes the cost requirements of the campus. The airy interior atrium design complements the magnificent outdoor landscape.
