In October of this year, the consortium of Ifadur SAS d’architecture was shortlisted for the international design competition of "Longpao New City Yangtze River Protection and Urban-Rural Integration Demonstration Project in Liuhe District, Nanjing". Two months of joint efforts have achieved the first place in the international competition. IFAD is mainly responsible for the urban design of Longpao CBD and Huazikou Old Town in the consortium.

As one of the nine major new cities in Nanjing, Longpao New City is adjacent to the Fourth Yangtze River Bridge, and is interdependent with the 26.9-square-kilometer Longpao Provincial Wetland Park.
